TicketsNow Review: Is it Legit, Reliable or a Scam?

TicketsNow is a ticket resale website backed by Ticketmaster.com. TicketsNow offers tickets for events of all sorts, even if said event is somewhere near sold out. If the event is near, you will likely find a decent ticket at a decent price without much issue. However, if you don't know exactly what ticket or event you're looking for, you may be out of luck. TicketsNow doesn't offer any suggestions for what's near and now.

Who is TicketsNow?

TicketsNow is a ticket reseller that allows users to buy and sell their event tickets with the support of ticketmaster.com.

My Experience with TicketsNow

I stay involved with some sort of event at all times, whether it be concerts or football games, so I'm always buying (and even sometimes selling) tickets. When it comes to tickets, I've seen some of the best (and some of the worst) sides of ticket resale websites.

TicketsNow takes a truly simplified approach to sell their tickets. As in, the website is essentially a sliding banner and groupings of names that belong to artists. Obviously not too flashy, but honestly not too simple either. The homepage gave me access to about thirteen events from which I could choose from, all very popular artists or basketball games that were likely already a ticket away from being completely sold out. When I clicked any of the links to these events, I was in luck; there were a number of tickets ready to be purchased right then and there. These tickets weren't even necessarily the nosebleeds like I would find at other ticket resellers. They were somewhere in the middle, both seat and price-wise.
Bonus: You are able to use your Ticketmaster account at checkout.

To make sure the seat availability was decent, I checked out Ariana Grande's 2021 Sweetener Tour whose pre-sale tickets sold out in about 2 minutes after tickets released. Right now, on Ticketmaster, the only tickets available are upwards of $200 regardless of where the show you hope to attend is located. Low and behold, there they were. The affordable seats and the no-longer-available nosebleed seats were available for decent prices. Even better, the service fee for a decent ticket was only around $27.50 with an instant ticket e-mailed straight to my device.

I can't complain about the prices too much. They don't seem too out of the ballpark, especially if you're shopping for sold out events. The price may be a bit higher than you would have expected but only by ten to thirty dollars. Even if you're not shopping in the sold-out area, you're still probably on a good pathway. The additional fees are even reasonable. It's safe to say that ticket prices are fair.

One of the downsides about Ticketsnow is that you can't just expect to browse for tickets. Say you're going to Las Vegas for a few days, and you want to see what shows will be around at that time…you won't find out. Say you're looking under the “Concerts” tab to see who is on tour right now…you won't find out. Even if you follow the recommended links on the website, you may find yourself at a dead end. With Ticketsnow, if you don't know exactly what you're looking for, it's likely you won't find anything at all.

Sell on TicketsNow

Selling on TicketsNow appears simple. A “Sell” option is located beside every tour date listed on the TicketsNow website. They ask you for information like quantity, barcodes, fixed price, “list until” date, credit card, billing address, and payment information. TicketsNow also ensures that you aren't left with an odd number of tickets by splitting your tickets. If you were to list 3 tickets, the buyer can choose all 3 tickets or 1 ticket, making sure you are left with a desirable number of tickets for another buyer.

Service Fees

TicketsNow tends to have relatively low service fees – this is one of the reasons why we recommend this service.
